A steampunk character
Optimized for Real-time engine and game environments
​I’m excited to share my latest personal project: a realistic character designed for a steampunk-themed game environment. For this project, I used the high poly/low poly technique, starting with sculpting the high poly model in ZBrush and creating the low poly version in Maya, where I also set up the UVs. I then baked the maps in Marmoset Toolbag and made custom textures in Substance 3D Painter, avoiding the use of any smart materials.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was creating the hair cards. After hours of practice, I achieved a result I'm satisfied with. Additionally, my knowledge of rigging allowed me to present the character in dynamic poses, making the final presentation more engaging and visually appealing.
